Convergence – interpretive/exhibit – and Taylor, Cullity, Lethlean – landscape/flora designed, documented and implemented the Forest Gallery during construction of the Melbourne Museum at Carlton Garden. This revolutionary combination of live animal exhibits, landscape, flora and interpretation redefined the meaning of a museum exhibit.

Located in a large external aviary style enclosure the exhibit included an innovative mix of animal enclosures, interactive exhibits, multimedia, sculpture installations, cutaway sections through creeks and ponds and museum object displays.

The landscape, exhibits and ambiance all combine seamlessly to make this an evocative and engaging place for all ages within the overall museum experience.
