The Workers’ Museum opened in late 2019. Housed in the historic Victorian Trades Hall Council building, the bespokemuseum focuses on the VTHC’s central role in the history of trade unionism in Australia along with the history of the Trades Hall building.

Convergence worked with Trades Hall to refine the exhibition content and object selection to realise the design, documentation and installation for the 20 showcases that collectively tell the story of the achievements of the union movement in Victoria.

The exhibition displays the union movement’s significance to the equality, education and betterment of the worker.
