It is an exact replica of the birthplace of Sir Henry Parkes in Warwickshire England and was erected as a tribute to the four times premier of NSW and the ‘father of Australian federation’. In conjunction with the masterplanning and detailed design of the Henry Parkes Centre Convergence developed a program of activities for Moat Cottage, the main feature of which is an immersive experience depicting the life of Sir Henry Parkes and his links with the town of Parkes.
